Twenty Øne Piløts's tribute to My Chemical Romance's Cancer. Early on, Mark C. Eshleman -TØP's creative director, made it clear that the animation didn't need to adhere to a lyric video in a true sense, but we had the luxury of deviating from the formula of see and say. Mark wanted the design and story to be influenced by what one might experience, specifically their senses, when going through Chemo therapy.
In addition to being released online for their fans, Cancer was added to the setlist on the Emotional Roadshow tour and brought to life on the LED floor of their B stage!
